What Is WESLEY?

The Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist Campus Ministry that serves the students of North Georgia College and State University.  It is our hope to help college students become the people they were created to be through experiencing new life in Jesus Christ.  We believe that it is God's desire to raise up a generation of students who are passionate about pursuing Him and seeing His kingdom advanced around the world!

What is the purpose of WESLEY?

Our vision of what God has called us to be consists of three main parts.  First, we see ourselves a family who is called to love one another and to encourage one another along in our pursuit of God.  Second, we see ourselves as a missionary outpost with the goal of reaching out to the students of NGCSU with the good news of Jesus Christ and inviting them to become a part of our family.  Third, we believe God has given us a unique opportunity to raise up, train, and send out mature Christian leaders into the world in order to see God's kingdom advanced.

Where is WESLEY located?

Our office is located in the "Wesley House" on the corner of Martin Street and South Meaders Street, behind Dahlonega United Methodist Church.  Our weekly services will be held in the new student center (located across the street from the Smith House and in what used to be the Buisson Art Center) on South Chestatee Street.   

When & Where do we meet?

Our weekly services are held on Wednesdays at 7 PM during the school year.

During the summer we meet at 6:30 on Thursday nights at the home of our director, David Griffith and his wife Sarah, for a free meal and fellowship (192 South Park Street).  Call 706-525-8018 for more information.  We would love for you to join us in this vision and experience the wonderful things God is doing and is going to do here at Wesley!
