Dr. Jeffrey Ross Jeff was appointed to the Dahlonega UMC in June of 2003. Previous to that had been the pastor of the Cedartown UMC for 6 years. Started working with and serving churches in 1981—Jeff has helped start a church, worked as a youth minister and associate pastor. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from West Georgia College in1979, a Master of Divinity Degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 1984, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in 2003. Jeff was ordained as an Elder in the North Georgia Conference in 1984. He and his wife Sherry discovered each other while attending ABAC, a junior college in Tifton, GA. Jeff and Sherry were married in 1979 and have 4 amazing children: April, Amy, Allison, and Avery. They enjoy just about anything that involves being outdoors. They especially enjoy the beach and try to get there as often as possible. Jeff gets enjoyment from watching people come into the church, find a home and a connection with the members, and then grow in relationship with their service to Jesus. Rev. Christy Greenwald Has a passion for helping people to grow in their faith in, and walk with, Jesus Christ ~ Loves the Dahlonega UMC and her people ~ Is a graduate of Asbury College and (as of June, 2011) the Course of Study program for second-career pastors at Candler School of Theology ~ Spent 22 years as a freelance writer, editor and proofreader, with at least 13 of that working for Chosen Books and Baker Book House ~ Is a member of the North Georgia Conference of the UMC, and is married to a United Methodist pastor, Rev. Gary R. Greenwald, as well ~ Has been a pastor since 1990, serving in four different churches ~ Has three grown children, five grandchildren, and two dogs! Related: Adult Sunday School |

Betsy Eubanks Betsy Eubanks is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Practiced as a certified public accountant for 10 years and spent 4 years in private practice as the CFO for Tag Express. Betsy is married to Clay Eubanks and has two wonderful children, Stephanie and Jack. |

Janet Eriksson Janet Eriksson is a Ministry Intern and the founder and director of Revolution Youth Ministry. She serves in Prayer Ministry at Dahlonega United Methodist Church and with Tree of Life Prayer Ministry in Dahlonega, Georgia. She also leads New Life Transition Ministries for individuals released from jail and prison, and individuals coming out of crisis. Janet is attending Asbury Theological Seminary. Janet loves to watch Jesus work in transforming people's hearts and lives, just as He continues to do in her life. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Janet worked for many years in New York City and has lived in and visited many countries. She enjoys short-term mission work overseas, and loves community outreach in beautiful Dahlonega and Lumpkin County, Georgia. She also enjoys activities like kayaking, sailing, and creative writing. Vanessa Myers Vanessa is a graduate of North Georgia College & State University and a graduate of Duke University Divinity School with a Masters in Church Ministries. She has served in Youth Ministry for the past 10 years and recently began working in Children’s Ministry in the fall of 2010 at Dahlonega UMC. Vanessa is married to Andrew and they have 2 daughters. |

Angie Mayo Has a love for children and delights in watching them grow; Enjoys sharing God’s love with the children and their parents. Attended Floyd College, Kennesaw State College & University, and North Georgia State College & University. Has been with Dahlonega UMC MMO/Preschool for 12 years, of which 9 years have been spent as director; Is a member of the North Georgia United Methodist Preschool Association and the Georgia Preschool Association; Spent over 13 years prior in the banking industry; Is a member of the DUMC Choir. Kerri Johnson Has been a member of DUMC for 5 years and serving on staff as assistant to Jeff Ross in 9:15 contemporary service for 4 years - Creator and coordinator of Tree of Life Prayer Ministry and Training Center, Inc.– housed at DUMC - Has a vision to help facilitate each individual in coming out of death and destruction into the freedom and realization that God knows us each individually and has a plan for each and every one of us - Passionate about training others in ministry and helping them to find their niche in the Body of Christ – Graduate of Piedmont College, Covenant Life Seminary and a present Graduate student of Asbury Seminary - Has been a prayer minister since 1997 - travels locally and nationally teaching and facilitating Elijah House schools – Lives on a farm in Dahlonega with hubby, 1 child (2 others in college), 2 dogs, 2 cats, 10 chickens. Chris Davis Moved to Dahlonega two and a half years ago with wife Becca to minister to the awesome youth of DUMC and this community~ Graduated from Lee University in 2006 with degree in Youth and Christian Education~ Has worked in the Methodist church for four years in youth ministry~ Wife Becca is a teacher at Lumpkin Middle and will help coach volleyball and basketball in the fall~ Loves being in the lives and around youth~ Thinks they are the life-blood of the church and would love it if you wanted to get involved also! Amy Thrailkill Amy moved to Dahlonega in 2004 with husband Dave and two Children Cal and Sadie. Graduated from Shepherd University in 1993 with a degree in Communications. Has been a member of DUMC for three years. Has a passion for helping others and enjoys being able to share God with everyone who enters her office! |

Debra Kane Joined Dahlonega United Methodist Church Sept. 2007, joined the Church Staff as an Office Secretary Aug. 2008. Is responsible for publishing the Church’s newsletter, The Prospector. Loves to organize luncheons to honor Church volunteers and organize the Free Christmas Day Meal for the community on Christmas Day. |

David Griffith David grew up in Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Religion. After graduation and prior to coming to work at the NGCSU Wesley Foundation in June of 2008, David spent four years working in accounting and insurance, and four years working full-time in campus ministry at the University of Georgia Wesley Foundation and at the University of Central Florida Wesley Foundation.
