DUMC offers a variety of opportunities for you to praise the Lord through instrumental or vocal music. Regardless of your age or musical background, the Music Ministry has something to offer you.
Sanctuary Choir
Ages: High School – Adult
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Downtown Sanctuary
The SANCTUARY CHOIR sings at the 11:00 Service and performs a variety of choral music from the Classics to Gospel to Contemporary. The choir also performs larger works including a Christmas Cantata and a Lent/Easter Cantata as well as a traditional Patriotic Celebration during the summer.
If you cannot commit to the entire season, consider joining our expanded ranks for the Christmas and/or Lent/Easter seasons.
Praise Band
Ages: High School – Adult
Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:00 p.m.– 8:30p.m.
The PRAISE BAND leads the contemporary music at our 9:30 Service. The BAND is open to experienced instrumentalists and singers. (If interested in the band, please contact the Music Office for more details.)
Sanctuary Bells
Ages: High School – Adults
Rehearse: Tuesday, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Our 3-octave handbell choir, the SANCTUARY BELLS, is a great outlet for those who love music and have a certain level of music reading ability. Since openings are limited, contact the Music Office if you are interested in ringing.

For grades K-6th.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m., Downtown Sanctuary
