| DUMC Community Groups When you get involved in group life you are actually getting involved in a large family. Each member of a community group is serving Jesus Christ by serving others, both in your group, in the church and in the community itself. There are many ways for you to deepen your faith walk and to serve in a more official capacity. DUMC has several existing groups that are welcoming new members. We have groups for couples, singles, men, women, youth and families with children. These groups typically meet in a home setting during the evenings. Community Group Leaders Volunteers who help facilitate group meetings. Group leaders are responsible for providing their groups with vision, direction and support. They facilitate the actual group meeting and act as the liaisons to the church. The Connection - An event where people meet and fellowship with others who are interested in being a part of a community group.
