Children
Kidz Church at 9:30 am
Join us at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings in the Chestatee Street building for Kidz Church! We begin our time in our small group classes: Preschool (must be 3 by Sept. 1), K & 1st, 2nd & 3rd, and 4th & 5th. Then we come into the sanctuary for large group worship where we hear the Bible story through skits and sing praise songs with our band. The last half of time is spent in the classroom where we do fun activities. We currently are using the 252 Basics curriculum where we focus on a different virtue each month.
Sunday School at 11:00 am
At 11:00 am on Sunday mornings we have Sunday school for kids ages 3-5th grade. We begin our time in the 11:00 service then leave after the children’s lesson and come back for a Sunday school lesson. We are currently using the Live B.I.G. curriculum.
Nursery at 9:30 am and 11:00 am
A nursery is provided for infants-2-year olds at the 9:30 and 11:00 am services. Our nurseries are located on the bottom floor in the Park Street building (on the MMO hall). At the 9:30 service we split the kids (infant, toddler and 2-year olds). The 2-year olds have a Sunday school class during the 9:30 service where they learn a Bible story along with a craft, game, snack, or other project. Your child is loved and well taken care of so you can enjoy one of our worship services.
Annual Events
Easter Egg Hunt
Our egg hunt this year will be on Easter Sunday at 1:00 pm. Kids are divided into age groups and then hunt for eggs! Prizes are awarded to kids in each age group.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is June 18-22! Our theme this summer is "Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep with God." VBS is always a FREE event for the children in our community.
Trunk-or-Treat
On Oct. 31 we host a Trunk-or-Treat in our Student Center parking lot. Families decorate trunks and pass out candy. Prizes are awarded for the top 3 trunks. There are games in the Student Center along with food! Lots of fun is had every year at our Trunk-or-Treat!
Christmas Party
Each year the children have a Christmas party. We do crafts, sing, and get a visit from Santa! We also do a special mission project to help families in our community.
